Responsibilities
Nocturnist MD
- Provide overnight inpatient care, managing acute medical conditions.
- Address emergent situations and ensure continuity of care during night shifts.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective, high-quality care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and medical interventions.
Hospitalist MD (Day Shifts)
- Deliver comprehensive daytime inpatient care, managing a range of medical conditions.
- Coordinate care transitions, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Work closely with specialists and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain thorough and detailed documentation of patient care.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
