Cardiologist - General Cardiology
The Cardiologist - General is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients of all ages. This includes diagnosing and treating heart disease, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions. The Cardiologist - General will also work with patients to develop and implement a plan for managing their cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities of the Cardiologist - General include:

Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients with cardiovascular disease

Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular disease

Consulting with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

Educating patients about cardiovascular disease and its prevention

Researching new treatments and therapies for cardiovascular disease
Qualifications for the Cardiologist - General include:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Completion of a residency in Internal medicine or Family practice

Completion of a fellowship in Cardiology
-
Board certification in cardiology
-
Excellent clinical skills and judgment
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
